Performance Introduction
'Sawubona' is a Zulu greeting meaning 'I see you.' The performance explores the act of truly seeing and being seen in public space. Through movement, collective presence, and poetic imagery, the piece invites audiences to reflect on recognition, empathy, and human connection. It transforms the street into a stage for encounters, where vulnerability and strength coexist, reminding us that every meeting holds the possibility of deep understanding.
