About Program
Immigration refers to the act of staying in another country for more than a year or settling down in another country under the definition of the United Nations Human Settlement Plan. By the above definition, I am also an immigrant. Through the performance, we shed new light on the gaze and prejudice of ‘immigrants’ limited to foreigners living in Korea. Through interviews and video shootings with many different nationalities living in Seoul, "I am also an immigrant!" is a performance that makes us all look back on our lives as immigrants, facing together our anxious images of wandering and moving, and the moments of going through the present life in front of us.

Artist
While always remembering the motif ‘Why do we work in an outdoor space, not a theater space? (Why And Exterior)' and answers for it, Project WAE is a project group made up of young actors and dancers in 2010. Since then, it has met many audiences with artworks that reflect the lives of modern people in various everyday spaces such as alleyways of Sewoon Shopping Street, stairs of Sejong Cultural Center, 284 Cafe at Seoul Station, post offices, ironworks, train tracks, churches, and convenience stores and created site-specific street dance theater with dynamic dances in various everyday spaces and worked to break down the boundaries of contemporary life and art with documentary elements.
